In 1980, when Mark Whitmoyer, launched Conservation Concepts, his initial business model was to design houses that harnessed the sun's energy to reduce the occupants reliance on fossil fuels.

 During the last 29 years demand for homes that use solar energy had diminished and Mark had to branch out to other Conservation oriented products.

Mark literally wrote the book on Solar Hot Water for Pennsylvania with assistance from the Pennsylvania Governor's Energy Council Grants and Management Staff. 

Now that consumers and businesses are once again interested in using solar energy, Conservation Concepts has taken its solar energy expertise and has added a new line of "Solar Oriented" products to its other conservation oriented products and even gave these unique additions their own website.

Mark has researched and hand picked the products he felt would best serve the needs of the Central Pennsylvania Community.
